- What is the origin of the company name?

Our company originated as an overseas division of Sakata Inx Corporation, one of the world’s three largest ink manufacturers. The company was renamed SIIX in 1998 by adding an “X” to the first letter of Sakata Inx International, the company name at the time of the spin-off, to represent infinite possibilities. We have been working as a trading company for electronic components overseas, but in order to meet the demands of our clients, we are now involved not only in the procurement of electronic parts but also in Printed Circuit Board mounting (EMS). This has now become the business of about 80% of our sales. We are the largest EMS company in Japan.
